Privacy Policy
Cuddles is a baby tracker. This page explains what we collect, why, who else handles it, and how to delete it. Questions go to support@cuddles.live.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address, used to send sign-in codes, and the display name you choose.
- Your children: the details you add, such as name and date of birth.
- Your log: the entries you and your family record. These include feeds, sleep, diapers, pumping, solids, growth, activities and notes, and health details such as temperature and medicine doses.
- Your family: who belongs to your household, their access level, and the email addresses you send invites to. Each entry records who logged it.
- Ask usage: a count of the messages you send each day, so we can apply the daily limit. When Ask suggests a change to your log, we keep that suggestion until you confirm or dismiss it. We do not keep a history of your Ask conversations on our servers.
- Imports: if you import a Huckleberry export, we read the file to create your entries.
- Purchases: which children are unlocked. Apple or Google takes the payment; we never see your card details.
What we do not do
No advertising, no analytics or tracking tools, no tracking across other apps or websites, and we never sell your data. Cuddles does not use your location or contacts. It uses the microphone only while you are recording a voice message. Reminders are scheduled on your phone.
Ask and voice input
When you use Ask, your message and the parts of your log needed to answer it go to OpenRouter. OpenRouter passes them to an AI model, and we ask it to use only providers that keep no copy and do not train on your data. When you use voice input, the recording goes through OpenRouter to Microsoft to be turned into text. We do not store the audio. Ask is not medical advice.
Who else handles your data
- Railway hosts our servers and database.
- Resend delivers sign-in emails.
- OpenRouter and the AI providers it routes to answer Ask messages. Microsoft, through OpenRouter, transcribes voice input.
- RevenueCat records purchases against your account ID. Apple and Google process payments.
- Cloudflare serves this website.
They use your data only to provide their service to us. Some of them are outside your country, so your data may be processed abroad.
Sharing with your family
People you invite see the log for the children in your household, at the level you choose: Owner, Can edit or Can view only. An owner can change access or remove people at any time.
Deleting your data
You can edit or delete any entry in the app. To delete your account, open You → Profile → Delete account and confirm with your email address. This is what happens:
- Any household where you are the only member is deleted, along with its children and their logs.
- Any household you share with others stays, so their record is not lost. If you were the owner, another member becomes owner. Entries you logged there stay in that family's record, but are no longer linked to you.
- Your account and sign-in sessions are deleted.
You can also email support@cuddles.live from your account address, and we will delete it for you.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law. Email support@cuddles.live and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
Data travels between the app and our servers over encrypted connections, and your sign-in is stored in your phone's secure storage. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we will tell you.
Children
Cuddles is for parents and caregivers, not for children. Only add information about children you look after.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell you in the app.
